Building Floor Plan Surveys

Horizontal section cut trough a building called the floor plan is the most fundamental view of any construction documentation. To get a floor plan we employ standard surveying techniques and analytical tools to come up with coordinates of individual points so the actual shapes of buildings, rooms, etc., are reproduced. This is particularly important with historical buildings which lack regularity.
