Building Elevation Surveys

The elevation is the most common view used to display the external appearance of a building. Elevations are of interest primarily for esthetic reasons. It is thus usually sufficient to position (survey) only a few fiducial points and plot the rest from inside measurements. For more complex elevations it is sometimes advantageous to use terrestrial photogrammetry as the intermediate step towards digitization.
